Diplomacy is a team sport.
Jonathon Nicholas Lawrence Cummings is a global affairs professional whose work lives at the intersection of diplomacy, development, and business. His expertise is navigating international organizations and building partnerships with global diplomatic actors.
He has served as Vice President of the Americas at Global Policy Insights and on the Steering Committee of the Alliance of NGOs and CSOs for South-South Cooperation at the United Nations, and he coordinates the US-China Series — a platform for rational dialogue on investment, business, and geopolitics. A 2024 40 Under 40 honoree, he serves on the Forttuna Technology Council's Global Advisory Board.
From the podium of the UN General Assembly Hall to festival stages in Karachi and conference halls in Nashville, he speaks and moderates on youth leadership, the SDGs, trade and investment, and the power of diaspora communities. A proud Jamaican and IYLA alum, he learned early that one person committed to making a difference can impact the world — and he has said so on the record.
